Zorra's School Retention Plan
The Zorra Local School Committee (ZLSC) was formed in 2017 with a mandate of to provide advice to Council regarding opportunities for the Township of Zorra to maximize long term economic development by attracting and retaining students through the development of a "School Retention Plan" in accordance with the Township of Zorra Strategic Plan." The purpose of a School Retention Plan is to provide the Township of Zorra community with a plan of action should the possibility of a local school closure in Zorra arise.
The Committee completed a School Retention Plan in 2020. The Committee was dissolved in 2021 after the Plan was adopted by Council. Click here to view the School Retention Plan.
The Township of Zorra is serviced by the Thames Valley District School Board (public) and the London District Catholic School Board (separate).
